  There’s been two violent crimes (that we know of) lately in our neighborhood, and we’re spooked.  Should we move?  That seems silly, running away from the problem does not seem to be the adult way of handling things.  And where would we go?  Some closed,  sterile community where we trade in liberty for freedom?  So we stay pat, and face the problem.  But what can we do?  Who do we talk to?

  The latest incident had two men running after one, unarmed person (eating a piece of cake).  Many shots were fired and four bystanders were hurt.  That would not happen if bullets cost $5k each, especially not in this economy, yes?
