I wake up at around 6am on the days I take pictures in Chinatown. I have no appetite that early, and it’s become a routine for me to hunt for breakfast after my morning rounds in Columbus Park. The egg sandwich has become a bit too heavy for me, and I went back to my old diet of coffee and croissant.
I’m not a coffee expert or snob, but when I pay $3 for a latte, it should not taste burnt or watery. The simple criteria seem to be difficult for many cafes in town. Bummer.
Kam Hing Coffee Shop has a nice sign, and it looks really nice from the outside. They sell cheap coffee and milk tea and Entenmann’s.
I got my breakfast this morning at Gimme! which is far, but makes excellent coffee.
