  I used to take only black and white pictures.  It’s good practice to ignore colors and pay attention to just forms and contrast, and I enjoyed relying only my sense of touch in the dark when developing film, and the smell of chemicals when making prints.  Now with a digital camera, I take only color pictures.  I find it a little awkward to change my pictures to black and white in a software, but with this picture, I was thinking black and white when I took it.
