It was a good morning at the park until I clicked and clicked and nothing happened. My camera’s battery ran out (there was warning yesterday and I forgot to charge) and the camera passed out on me. So about ten minutes into my morning session, I was done. This would never happen with my old manual camera.
I was trying to take a few picture from this angle (I ended up snapping a shot with my phone):
I walk by a small deli on the way to the park each morning. Today I noticed a bunch of police officers getting their breakfast sandwiches and coffee from the deli, so after the abrupt ending to my morning picture-taking exercise, I stopped by and ordered me an egg sandwich (2 eggs, with a bit of ketchup) and orange juice. It’s a tiny deli. If it were a bedroom, you can fit in a full size bed and there’d be just enough room for a small closet. The cashier is in front, and in his little booth you see lots of lottery tickets hanging behind him. There were a couple hopeful customers this morning choosing which tickets to purchase, and the deli man was happy to sell them dreams.
The egg sandwich was good. I’ll be going back there.
